Community Development Program

ARF Institute for Animal Husbandry and Entrepreneurship Development

To promote rural entrepreneurship, ARF launched specialized training programs in scientific dairy farming and artificial insemination (AI).

Over the past decade, more than 750 rural youth have transformed their livelihoods through these programs. After completing the training, many of them now provide essential animal healthcare services in their own villages, earning a sustainable income of ₹7,000–10,000 per month.

ARF successfully trained two batches comprising 21 young entrepreneurs in 2017–18,  through an intensive three-month program on dairy farming and AI. Participants, including students from the Lupin Foundation and the local farming community, received hands-on field training, practical demonstrations, and exposure visits to institutions such as NDRI Karnal and the Vita Milk Plant, Rohtak.
